Description:

The patient is a 48-year-old Black male presenting to the clinic with enlarged breasts after massive weight loss. Examination of the patient was notable for pseudogynecomastia which means hanging breasts after massive weight loss. At surgery, an inferior pedicle was developed to support sensate nipples and the scar was placed at the base of the breasts. A total of 173.6 g of tissue were removed from the left breast and 136.4 g of tissue were removed from the right breast. Postop, the patient was happy to report that he no longer felt ashamed to take his shirt off at the beach or at the gym.
