This patient was a 41 year old mother of 1, presenting to the clinic with complaints of small breasts and bulging abdomen. Examination of the breasts showed them to be of modest size with mild ptosis. She prefers a high profile implant. Her abdomen was notable for minimal excess skin and a 3 finger wide diastasis recti. Explained to her the bulging on her stomach was caused by diastasis recti. Liposuction alone would not give her a flat stomach she was looking for. Tummy tuck was the only option to repair the diastasis recti. She opted to an lipoabdominoplasty with a short scar. At surgery, her breasts were augmented by the no-touch technique with 500 cc high profile Mentor implants. A short scar technique was used to lift the nipple to the ideal position. A lipoabdominplasty was done to the abdomen with a double layer repair of the diastasis recti and a triple layer closure of the lower abdominal flap. The flap was a couple of cm shy on length and a short vertical scar was incorporated into the closure to avoid excess tension on the closure. The patient was very happy with the results and has been a long term patient of the clinic. After photos were taken at her 6 months follow up.
