first step?

Laser Genesis treatments are safe for all skin types. However, those taking antibiotics or other photosensitizing medications should check with their primary care physician before deciding to get the treatment.

Dr. Hankins will evaluate your target areas of concern. Virtually any part of your body can be safely treated. The face, chest, and neck are the most popular areas for treatment. At the end of the consultation, we aim to arrive at a mutually agreed upon treatment plan, after which you can schedule your laser genesis appointment for a convenient time.

What to Expect from a Laser Genesis Treatment

On the day of your laser genesis treatment in Houston, Dr. Hankins and his staff will receive you and make sure you are comfortably settled in the procedure room. He will then start the treatment as per the plan discussed.

Laser Genesis works by gently delivering micro-pulses of laser energy to the skin’s surface. By targeting excess micro-vessels, it improves the appearance of sunspots, fine lines, wrinkles, and even facial redness. 

You’ll be able to feel gentle heating throughout the treatment. If you’d like, we can apply a topical analgesic to make you sensation-free; however, some patients have described this experience as therapeutic.
